Jason Williams

Jason is a founding Pastor/Elder of Sovereign Life Fellowship and has been on board since the beginning in 2015, to the launch as SLF in 2016, and hopes to serve many more years helping lead the body of believers at SLF!

Jason was born and raised in Longview.  He met his wife, Courtney, in a local church and they dated in high school before marrying.  They have been married for 25 years now and have four wonderful children, Daniel, Andrew, Victoria, and Ashley.  He has served in ministry roles in various churches including Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor.

Jason’s heartbeat/desire is that people may come to know the God of the universe through His Son Jesus Christ revealed in the Holy Bible through the preaching, reading, and meditation of the Scriptures.

Jason enjoys spending time with his crazy fun family, watching sports, and reading just about everything he can.

Jason serves as the Lead Pastor of Sovereign Life Fellowship in Longview and is responsible for the following:

• Setting and leading the vision of the church.

• Primary Bible teacher/preacher.

• Provides overall leadership and direction of the church with assistance from the other pastors.

• Leads and directs world missions and local mission efforts (City Lights).

• Assist in congregational care as needed.

• Provides counseling services as needed.
